Alex, thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. Your original AC inspection indicated you needed a recharge of freon. We installed dye at that time of recharge because your system held the proper amount of vacuum required to do a recharge of the AC system. After a month your system leak became more apparent as the AC system was not as cold anymore. The dye installed indicated the condenser and Schrader valve are your leaks. Jim, your battery has a 30-month free replacement nationwide at any Interstate Battery retailer. When you brought in your carry-in battery, we followed the requirements of Interstate Battery which included a trickle charge and retest. Your battery tested ok by the Interstate tester supplied to us by the Interstate Company. Sometimes when we don’t have the vehicle to do a complete system check with the battery under load it can create a false test. Please call we would like to recheck the battery hopefully with the vehicle.
