This place is A1. I'm a skeptical but they left me overly satisfied and their rates are very reasonable. Will continue to do business. Keep up the work guys.

After a poor experience and a previously bad review, I am happy to say that these guys made the situation right with me. I give them much credit for their response.

I have been going to Honest One for a couple years for minor repairs and oil changes and they've been very good for the most part. Some months back I had taken it in because I noticed a loud humming noise in the rear and brought it in to get checked out. I mentioned maybe the wheel bearings might be going, but the guy came out and said "your struts are shot. It's causing your vehicle to sag in and the tires are wearing unevenly, hence the humming noise". Wierd, but I assumed he knew what he was talking about. After the repair, he said it might still hum for awhile since the tires were worn unevenly, even though the struts were fixed. Ok, I guess I buy that. The sound was still there and continued to get louder. Finally took it back in for the same problem and now, they say it's the wheel bearings. I'm already angry at this point. Especially with the $500 price tag. They charged $120 for labor, and they didn't even get the part in until 20 minutes before they were done. So 30 minutes of labor, tops. And the part that they sold me had to have been marked up at least 300%, I couldn't find the same part for anywhere near as high as they charged me. I'm just so disappointed in this place after that. Not to mention, if it's as bad as they say it was, my wheel was in danger of breaking off eventually according to the guy who helped me this time and they totally missed it the first time. When I voiced my concern that they totally missed it the first time the guy at the desk didn't really have anything to say about it.

I took my car in for a repair ad was told that I needed an additional repair, a bearing replaced, for an added cost of about $600. I agreed and paid. A week later I learned that the person I'd recently bought the car from had that same bearing replaced three months previous. Draw your own conclusions. I'm NEVER going back to these people.

Got a new alternator put in a 2006 Honda Pilot. Quote was 717 + 55 for the diagnostic. Made a quick call to another shop and was quoted $530 out the door for the repair. Honda dealer ship quoted $775 for brand new alternator, or 596.76 for rebuild alternator. The shop re-negotiated the price down to $627 total, including diagnostic. At least we are not paying dealership prices. We appreciate the shops willingness to work its customers and hope in the future, it can offer some more affordable parts options. We certainly will appreciate the 3 year warranty that this repair comes with.

Not as Honest as the name suggests.... I had asked for a particular grade of oil just like the typed used in previous appointments. I even wrote it on the work order to be crystal clear. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was informed that a different type of oil than requested was used instead. When I asked why they did that I was told I should be happy with the discounted price of the "better" product they used. They were argumentative.....refused to answer why they did it, refused to answer why they didn't call to see if I wanted this "better" product for a great discount....and, of course, I was charged more than my initial charge would have been.... See ya

Went in to have a bearing replaced it Santa fe. Quotes me WAY high and when I checked the tires later they didn't even tighten the lugs. Stay away. I will never take my vehicle here again nor will anyone I know.

Definitely has a dealer-like feel to waiting area. Unfortunately the services are way overpriced and I have had problems services performed. After redoing brakes for $1300 including the master cylinder, the new master cylinder went out. Needing a new radiator they quoted me over $700. Got same work done by JPT auto for around $300. A neighbor who had his breaks done a year ago had them go out on a hill. He got them redone at another place that said they were redone improperly and did them "the right way" for much less. I'd like to say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I'm afraid that you can't know for sure what you're getting aside from a chunk taken out of your wallet.

I am very sorry to hear you were unhappy with our service. We do offer competitive pricing on our services using parts supplied by premium manufactures. That said there is a failure rate on all parts. The part that was needed was replaced under warranty at no cost. We do back all of our services with the longest warranty in the industry. This particular service was performed using economy parts per the customers request. As the vehicle was older and had advanced mileage. The customer was aware of the quality difference between our regularly used parts and the parts that were ultimately used. The total of the invoice was also quite a bit less then was stated in the review. We will be happy to contact any of our customers that may be less then completely satisfied with our pricing or service. Our goal is always 100% customer satisfaction.

As of 9/8/14, we have not received any communication from the store. This incident happened around 8/20/14 It turns out that Honest 1 Auto put on the wrong oil filter. It didn't have a sensor installed and it didn't fit properly. The certified mechanic at the dealer said I should not drive it. I had to line up a tow truck to tow my vehicle to the dealership and have them correct the matter. The total bill for the oil change was $24.00. The total bill for the tow and diagnostic was around $200. We told Honest 1 that we were sending them a bill for the total amount we had to spend because of their mistake. As of today, we have not heard back from them. They offered to fix the problem they caused but we had stated we didn't want to work with them anymore. If you brought a vehicle with 3100 miles in for an oil change and it left in worse condition, would YOU want to bring it back to the same place? That was a question we asked the manager. The man who initially helped me was very apologetic. I want to commend him for his professionalism. The manager or managers we dealt with never offered a refund on the oil change...something that I feel would have been a step in the right direction. While they tried helping, they are running a business where the mechanics are totally uneducated about newer engines and vehicles. If they compensate for the extra money we had to pay for their mistake, I would think about bringing my older vehicle back to them. I would NEVER bring them a new vehicle. UPDATE: Checking their website, I see that they aren't even ASE certified. I never knew that and will not be doing business with them.
